How can I download the FAQs to my computer so that I have them available even when I am offline?

If you are a member of OOoAuthors, you can get a zip file containing all of the FAQs.

  1. Go to the OOo Authors site and login in the usual way.
  2. Click on the link to FAQs in either the top or side navigation area. This will take you to the top level of the FAQ folder.
  3. Click on the Download tab on top of the main area.
    This will download a file called faqfolder_download to your default download file location.
    This is actually a zip file containing all the FAQs in html format, although the file is not saved with a .zip extension by default. If you need to, rename the file so that it is recognised as an archive file.
  4. Unzip this file to extract all the faqs into folders and files. You can load the file index.html at the top of the FAQ folder tree to access all the FAQs which were on the OOoauthors site at the time of your download.
